What is a labyrinth?
A labyrinth is a designated walking area with a single, winding path that leads to a center. It is an ancient design that has been around for over 4,000 years. Labyrinths are used as tools for personal, psychological, and spiritual transformation. They evoke metaphor, sacred geometry, spiritual journeys, religious practices, mindfulness, environmental art, and community building. Labyrinths are particularly useful for meditation and prayer.
